I AM THAT GIRL is a community, a support system, and a movement inspiring girls to LOVE, EXPRESS, and BE who they are. We are unstoppable, turning self-doubt into self-love and raising the standards for how we treat each other and how we treat ourselves. Being THAT GIRL is an identity, a responsibility, and an opportunity for us to stand for something bigger than ourselves and remind girls everywhere that we are far more powerful when we collaborate instead of compete. THAT GIRL is the best version of each of us. Being THAT GIRL means we recognize our worth, we’re perfectly-flawed, and we dream HUGE. Every time we look in the mirror we’re reminded that we are not alone, that we have brilliant hearts and beautiful minds, that we are the author of our own lives, that we are beautyFULL in our own skin, and that we speak our own truth. While we’re certainly out to change the world, we must first start with ourselves.

Because we are receiving 3000 messages a day telling us we are not enough.
And I AM THAT GIRL says ENOUGH!
By building community and providing girls with a safe space to have meaningful and mindful conversations, we enable girls to have a higher sense of self worth. Inspiring girls to think for themselves, speak their truth and discover their purpose will ultimately leave them pursuing the best version of themselves.
The media plays a dominant role in influencing girls’ perceptions of the world around them, as well as helping them to define their sense of self. The current state of unhealthy media is a global health crisis for girls; causing mental, physical and emotional illness. We seek to be a solution by providing our community with healthy media that lifts girls up instead of breaking them down.
