Zerlina Maxwell is an attribute to any team. She is an empowered survivor who chooses to educate and MOTIVATE other survivors to stand as one against the myths that are created to protect predators in society. It is not stepping over boundaries to ask if someone is ok. It is not inappropriate to call out harassers. When society turns their heads on assaults, it is our wake up call to stand up, side by side to the conscious awareness of basic moral human rights and boundaries. You don’t have to be a survivor of a trauma to be an ally for universal respect and self-worth. We all deserve it, period.
