I recently saw a quote related to judgment, suggesting that taking time out of improvement of ourselves to judge others accomplishes nothing. We never know what others are going through. Empathy and compassion are the only way we can survive as a human race. I think it is common to forget that we are all humans, that we came from somewhere and someone. Everyone leaves an imprint and contributes to someone in their lifetime, whether we know it or not. The writings on the cardboard show us that people who don’t have a home still have a place, freedom and right to be treated with common courtesy and dignity. A piece of card board should not needed to remind humans that we are all humans.
