Dear Friends and supporters,

We have exciting new support from Danele Watts. You may recognize her from movies such as Muted and The Babysitter. Today she spoke to us about her experience with slut shaming and her the false accusations by TMZ. In her statement she says:

“Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to share my story and stand in #Solidarity4Survivors. Together we can encourage women to share their stories, release shame, and experience healing.

I recently had an experience with the Los Angeles Police Department and a public backlash that was very dramatic for me. Although this was not a rape, I do feel that I experienced the effects of a culture that has shamed and repressed our women into believing in a state of insecurity induced silence that perhaps only trauma can disrupt.”

We are also excited to announce that we will begin sit ins with he first being on October 6th in the office of Assembly-member Christina Garcia. We are asking for donations to help these sit ins become a reality. If you can please donate below. We will be heard on this matter they will not ignore us forever.
