A backpack for someone in need

People that are homeless can and do appreciate the many things we take for granted. I often think of ways I can help and teach my son how to be aware of needs in our communities. There are those who think of some great ways to help. These two videos show one way to help by giving out backpacks full of necessities that someone who is in need of help would appreciate. Creating a movement to individually do what you can to set an example like these people have is motivating. The “stigma” of having a “homeless problem” can be changed into “we have homeless people who need our help.”

“Carry out random acts of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.” ~ Princess Diana

This couple from Tacoma, Washington make it easy for us to by showing us what they put in their backpacks for under $20.00
