How Far Will I Run Book Release Party

Local author from Santa Rosa and present business owner in Solano County, Christina Baird, sets out to launch her first book, How Far Will I run on June 28th at the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce. Born and raised in northern California, Christina has made it her life work to be of service through accountability in her communities. Christina understands people, local businesses, and their agendas within the public arena. She connects all through humanistic marketing as she creates an awareness of their need throughout her communities. She shares a belief that a community has the conscious choice to contribute or find avenues that can. In addition, Christina serves on the Vacaville Community Services Commission, appointed by the mayor; currently acting President of the Vacaville Chapter, serving all of Solano County; current Optimist club member; and owns two public relations and marketing companies. Christina volunteers her time to the Solano County Office of Education’s Career Technical Education high school program and facilitates an accountability and contribution luncheon, keeping local business owners informed of any community opportunities. Christina has highly endorsed her local Chambers of Commerce’s through out the years by serving as an Ambassador for the chambers she has been a member of and in the 2013-2014 term, she was awarded the KI Jones Award by the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce. Christina approached Debi Tavey, President /CEO of the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce for her book release as the chamber is in alignment with Christina’s business vision. Not only is her office located in the Chamber, her endorsements are never ending when it comes to the Chambers efforts for growth to local businesses. “I have seen so many businesses thrive in our ever changing economies with guidance from our local Chamber. I am grateful for the experiences I have had through the years with this engaging organization,” boasts Christina. With the support of the Chamber staff and Board of Directors and through their active advocacy and creation of programs for their members, I feel confident the business community has the tools needed to be successful.

The public is welcome to attend; the first fifty guests to purchase a book will receive a t-shirt as well. If you are unable to attend, Christina’s book is available to purchase online at www.howfarwillirun.com. Christina is also available for public speaking appearances and can be booked by calling, 707-738-9962
