Your Story Doesn’t Define You, it’s what you do with it that counts…

What does your story do for you? Does it enable you? Does it destroy you? Or does it empower you? I used my story for so many years as an excuse to react the way I did. Eventually I realized it didn’t help me grow, my story kept me stagnant. As soon as I let go of my story, a sense of freedom came over me. It had held me down for too many years, I had grown accustom to the weight. I didn’t need the extra baggage, I thought I did for so long, that was the dysfunction of my perception, my mind playing tricks on me. I was my own worse enemy until I rewrote my script, making sure there was no room for excuses.
